THE NEW TOMMY HILFIGER EYEWEAR COLLECTION CELEBRATES THE 25th ANNIVERSARY OF THE BRAND
September 2010 – Fall 2010 marks the debut of Tommy Hilfiger’s new eyewear collection,
manufactured and distributed by Safilo Group. The collection embodies the neo-preppiness of the
Tommy Hilfiger brand that has become a global symbol of the all-American spirit. The eyewear has
been specially designed with a classic yet modern feel that reflects Tommy Hilfiger’s classic American
To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Tommy Hilfiger brand, founded in 1985, Tommy Hilfiger
designed the “TH 1985” sunglass style in acetate featuring a geometric vintage shape reminiscent of
the 80’s. The iconic Tommy Hilfiger flag appears on the left temple tip, while the “HILFIGER” logo is
placed near the end-piece.
The style is available in several combinations of Tommy Hilfiger’s iconic, classic color scheme: red,
white and blue. The “TH 1985” glasses are available in white with blue/red/white temples, blue with
white/blue/red temples and also in dark pink with cream temples. Classic colors such as black, dark
Havana and khaki with dark Havana temples will also be sold.
