Belvie, the brand born from the passion of Optika, a French optician with 7 shops and a 40-year history in eyewear, debuts at Mido 2019 with its first collection of optical frames and sunglasses.

Belvie aims to offer an eyewear collection that encompasses diverse essences, each unique and different from the others. Belvie is synonymous with quality, design, lifestyle and personality: an alchemy of values which seeks to create, not obey, a fashion statement.

Four lines will be presented for the first time at Mido.

MODE
Feminine, elegant and high-impact models, thanks to the use of a bold colour palette chosen for the enamel detailing which enriches the ultra-light metal frame. Created for a woman who uses her glasses as a true way to express her personality.

PUR
Minimalist design for metal frames with square lines. Available in a larger shape, suitable for all faces, in the sunglass version, whilst the optical frames are masculine and linear in shape.

ECHO
Inspired by 1950 and 60’s glamour and has all the allure of vintage styling whilst being reinterpreted with a modern twist. The classic thick front piece, typical of the era, is exchanged for an ultra-light acetate frame that is comfortable and practical to wear.

LIGHT
Titanium is used employing the most advanced techniques to create functional, yet aesthetically stunning designs. The result is a collection of modern and original models whose details are studied to create an innovative accessory with a strong glamour feel.

The name Belvie means “beautiful life” and seeks to represent the ideal product for those who are looking for quality, technology and aesthetics in their life also through a glasses frame able to convey the true personality of the wearer. Both the prescriptioneyeglassesand sunglass frames can be recognized for their modern design,paired with sophisticated colours, top quality and handmade materials and a perfectly comfortable fit.

Belvie eyewear collections are available from January 2018 atselected opticians, first in France then in the rest of Europe. Distribution will then be extended to the American market.
