Seraphin – Seasonal Shapes

Ogi Eyewear is happy to share their most recent collection from Seraphin: five brand new frames, each brazen with detail and unique hues, very appropriate as we move tantalizingly closer to the fall season.

Image

Arbour

Deep in enriching color varietals, the Arbour radiates an almost heart-stopping presence. A sharply winged shape reveals carved edges that lead to a fleck of metal within the hinge piece. Entrancing in every detail, the Arbour invites any for a closer look.

Image

Hanley

We’re heating things up with the Hanley. With the acute application of heat to the rim, a purposeful twisting pattern finds itself concocted into the brow. Complete with Seraphin’s designer stamped hingepiece, the Hanley never stops innovating.

Image

Knoll

True vintage experiences a rebirth in the Knoll, nodding to the utilitarian design of the late 1920s when minimalism and metal reigned supreme. Properly built up shielding around the rim adds history and sophistication whereas the universal sized bridge creates a comfortable fit, lending the Knoll to all aspects of Seraphin’s key design elements.

Image

Nash

The Nash brings a full smattering of design choices and stylistic moves to the latest Seraphin collection. From patternly temples and micro acetate tips to the reinforced acetate brow line, the Nash tests the limits of forward-thinking design.

Image

Opus
Embracing size and scale, the aptly-named Opus swells with grandeur in its robust size and seemingly sheer make up. Thickly crafted acetate leaves an open canvas for deep and brooding hues, evoking artistic inspiration throughout the Opus.

SCENES DE VIE avec EMILE & ROSE

A 30 ANS TOUT COMMENCE !

#fromokowithlove

OKO by OKO EMILE-C3 FACE MD

OKO by OKO ROSE C3 FACE MD

Et là, on réalise l’évidence : tout est consciemment et élégamment décalé, comme si la marque donnait vie à ses idées et à ses créations en ne pensant qu’à une chose : permettre au porteur de se révéler et d’oser afficher sa personnalité.

Singin’ The BLUs – New Scojo New York BluLites

Scojo New York is delighted to introduce the latest in BluLite styles – now available in metal frames. These ready-to-wear readers come in four ultra unique shapes, with personalities all their own. Additionally, each of these styles is offered in plano non-RX for those seeking a little protection from digital screens without the added reading power.

Image

Biko

The Biko embodies the essence of Scojo New York, with a revitalized sense of vigor in this retro, fully round style. Built from stunning stainless steel, the boldness is physically felt within this substantial frame.

Image

Matrix

High fashion dips into decades passed for the ultra slim Matrix. Pieced together from chromatic gold stainless steel and infused with BluLite technology, this pop of visionary color may be small, but has no trouble getting noticed.

Image

Palatino

The Palatino takes a bold stab at an original concept. A more compressed P3 shape is presented, with a flatter profile up top and a rounded edge to bring modernization through this BluLite frame. Dynamic yet approachable with golden stainless steel, the Palatino is bound to shine.

Image

Radcliffe

Clean cut for a look of enduring sophistication, the Radcliffe embodies a true P3 shape. Cooling silver metal forms this BluLite filtering style, created for function, but fully embracing a life of high fashion in the modern era.

The whole collection started with one phrase ‘’it’s cold, I’m just chilling’’.

I was inspired by winter and combined this with the idea of sitting at home on the sofa. The overall atmosphere transmits a certain coldness and conveys my feelings of being lonely and longing for family as an international student in a foreign country.

I started putting together the collection after watching ‘’Ex Machina’’, this really polished movie about artificial intelligence. The whole aesthetic is based on laboratories and has this very clean feel to it. The idea of playing with a mask for this project appealed to me a lot. I started to do research into the negative space of these objects in order to create a new kind of shape.

“See you in the fog” references adolescence and depicts a teenager’s concerns of not fitting into a grown-up world, as well as his or her attempts to do so. Set in a forest rave in Stockholm, it connects contemporary rave culture with new ways of preserving nature and craftsmanship. Technical materials are linked with contrasting natural inputs and traditional techniques. The unisex sunglasses reference trees which are tinted blue, yellow and green by artificial strobe lights.

QUINTEN MESTDAGH

My main goal was to create the effect of make-up in eyewear. As make-up is always applied onto the skin, I was interested in transforming it into an object or accessory that you can easily put on and off. The glasses consist of one colored lens that covers the face which is then enhanced with gradient prints and embellished with rhinestones.

New Ogi Kids styles

As we kick off the summer fun, Ogi Eyewear is happy to introduce the freshest line of Ogi Kids styles. Perfect for the season, these frames bring funky colors and out-of-the-box shapes for an endless summer of frolic.

Image

OK107

Built to be as expressive as its wearer, the OK107 couples chromatic hues for a fully contrasting experience. Thinly formed stainless steel weaves a tale of persistence, yet playfulness. The OK107 comes complete with adjustable nose pads for ultimate comfort.

Image

OK347

The OK347 embodies the ideals of change, with crystalline hues that bring an almost transparent feel to an already petite design. Pastel painting throughout the acetate reflects an innocent charm the OK347 fully embodies.

Image

OK348

The OK348 comes to the Kids collection with a small, but mighty sense of vigor. The slimly fitted frame brings a simple color skew along the face, but a more patterned element can be see atop the brow. Built tough from our premium acetate material, the OK348 exceeds expectations.

Image

OK349

Hints of fruit and floral run across the OK349’s select styles, with deeply fresh color schemes. Dual pressed acetate creates high contrast along the temple and frame face, pulling this look neatly together. Clean cut and ready for its debut, the OK349 arrives.
