Vision of Tomorrow is launching a collection that brings fashion and sustainability together.

 

January 2020_ Vision of Tomorrow (VOT) – the eyewear consulting and services company born from the twenty years of experience of Nora Cabrera (COO) and Fabio Ferracane (CEO) – presents the new MITA Eyewear collection.

 

The name MITA represents the spirit of the brand: MI as Miami first initials, home of VoT, and ITA as Italy. A name that represents a bridge between the melting pot stylish culture of the American Magic City and the concepts of Italian craftsmanship and design.

 

During the 50th edition of MIDO, MITA will officially make its debut with COLLEZIONE 1, a totally eco-friendly eyewear brand. The 17 optical styles and the 13 sunglasses are in fact made from recycled and recyclable materials: the plastic designs are made from PET plastic bottles collected from the ocean, while the metal ones are made from recycled aluminum. The attention to the environment does not stop at the frames, but also involves demo and sun biodegradable lenses, components and packaging.

Waiting to unveil the entire collection at MIDO here are two iconic models: SOLE, a women’s sunglasses, and MIO1913 a men’s ophthalmic frame.

The model, made from recycled PET plastic, features a wide shape of vintage inspiration highlighted by the detail on the bridge. A frame that perfectly suits the personality of those who love fashion that can be worn on a daily basis.

 

SOLE

The model, which evokes the vibrant atmosphere of Miami’s beaches, has an extremely feminine oversized shape, embellished with a metal bar with the lasered logo. It is made from recycled PET plastic and the lenses are also biodegradable.

LIGHTBIRD LAUNCHES TWO NEW WOMEN’S OPTICAL MODELS

 

BAOBAB and SNAKE .

Two new 100% Made in Italy women’s models, characterized by innovative shapes, color combinations and design.

 

 

January 2020_ LIGHTBIRD launches two new women’s optical models : BAOBAB and SNAKE. The designer Corrado Rosson thus completes LIGHT_MATTER, the debut collection of the Bellunese brand, after having presented two other novelties in Munich: FLOWER and BUSINESSMAN.

 

New shapes and color combinations feature the frames that will expand the first collection, consisting of 17 optical and 5 sun models. The homonymous material patented by the Italian company testifies its D.N.A., linked to innovation and industrial technology. Light_MATTER was indeed born from the union of two materials: Italian Acetate and light hi-tech aluminium alloy.

BAOBAB and SNAKE recall, like the names of all the other frames in the collection, The Little Prince, the literary masterpiece by Antoine De Saint-Exupéry. Rosson loved this story and identified an affinity between the values conveyed by the novel and those belonging to the brand’s philosophy.

Custom design details and bold colors define the FYSH collection for March 2020. Featuring lightweight constructions, unique patterns, and a rich color palette, the new collection offers trendsetting eyewear for the strong, ambitious women who embrace individual style. 


Stainless steel style F-3648 is a modified square with a high gloss epoxy overlay on the top rim and temples. The delicate rope inspired pattern on the bottom eye rim adds a feminine touch. This style is available in black rose gold, brown gold, eggplant rose gold, and emerald gold.  

 

Vibrant pops of color in style F-3649 create a linear color block effect. The modified square offers an ultra-thin profile with a matte finish. The browline is made to stand out with its unique color combinations available in black fuchsia, charcoal lavender, aubergine rose, and black emerald. 

Combination style F-3650 features a unique patterned translucent acetate highlighted by the ultra-thin metallic temples. This modified square is available in black mesh, sky blue, brown gold, and blush rose. 

Stainless steel style F-3651 is an angular square shape that mixes bold color with classic metal tones. The front rim is sectioned by the browline which is highlighted in a solid color, while the bottom of the rim features a totally printed pattern. Style F-3652 is a universal fit, modified square in gradient acetate with glitter. A metal inlay is featured along the browline that is also used to complete the stylish bridge. Available in raspberry gold, rose gold, and turquoise gold.  

 

Stainless steel style F-3653 is an angular modified square with an ultra-thin profile and lightweight construction. Vibrant pops of color along the brows create a bold contrast against the classic metallic hues of the frame. This style provides a minimalistic look in a high shine finish available in ruby gold, rose silver, teal rose gold, and black rose gold.

Look made in Italia applies in-depth research on titanium to derive exceptional performance. Experimentation and many in-house trials produced considerably thinner rims, while maintaining the mechanical strength of this precious metal. September 2018. Ultra Limited – the eyewear brand that has made uniqueness, artisan craftsmanship and color its trademark philosophy – launches the new Fall/Winter 2018-19 styles in its Profili Edition collection.

 

Riding the wave of success met with the Mido 2018 debut of the collection, for the forthcoming season Ultra Limited has decided to dig deeper, expanding its innovative project through bold appliqués. While remaining true to the brand’s DNA, the frames in the Profili Edition display a totally fresh look, thanks to the application of a monochrome acetate sheet in the central part front, color-coordinated with the temples, creating an exquisite contrast with the blend of hues on the outer part of the rims.
